On March 23 and 24 the SPORTBIZ Business and Sport Forum took place in Warsaw bringing together local and international experts in the sports and business worlds. Participants included sports marketing and business organizations, local government officials, sports managers and others in the sports and business fields.
PlumResearch had the opportunity to present its product, TicketWicket, in the third edition of the Sports StartUp Project competition. Of the 40 projects submitted and 31 finalists, PlumResearch won the 2017 Sports StartUp Project award at the Sport & Business Forum Gala — and we couldn’t be more excited.
Our CEO, Lukasz Jeziorski, was also given the chance to present the product to the gala audience, which consisted of sport and business executives.
“This award means so much to us and is an important moment for us at PlumResearch,” Jeziorski said. “It really solidifies our position in the entertainment and sports markets.”
The goal of this major event is to present the latest in industry trends through global case studies and insider presentations on sports businesses and brands. It is also meant to promote Poland as a major contributor to the international sports market. There are many different lectures during this two day event, including those that focus on building a sports brand in the current market, promoting creativity, and how to capitalize on the digital age of sports.
